Statistics: Russia’s wage arrears fall 0.3% in Sep to 1.83 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Oct 15 (PRIME) -- Russia’s wage arrears fell by 0.3% in September to 1.828 billion rubles as of October 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Thursday.

Wage arrears that emerged in 2020 amounted to 835.8 million rubles, the arrears that emerged in 2019 amounted to 414.1 million rubles, and the arrears that emerged in 2018 or earlier stood at 578.4 million rubles.

The processing industry accounted for 45% of the debt, mining for 16%, construction for 14%, agriculture and hunting for 8%, and transport for 7%.
